Seems Fake
art prints / stickers / packaging / merchandise

Seems Fake is an artist shop created during my Senior BFA Capstone focused on exploring the absurdity of social media and the role it plays in contemporary life. My work employs color, typography and a minimalistic illustration style to create ironic images that unite and amuse those of us struggling to survive in a reality that often simply, seems fake. With this shop, I wish to spark in audiences the desire to join me as I explore human behavior and the psychology behind consumer-culture.
As an artist and designer, I draw inspiration from artists such as Barbara Kruger and Jessica Walsh and from my observations of daily life. Seems Fake will connect with Gen. Z and Millennial audiences; however, I hope this work will create positive interactions among multiple age groups - fostering sharing and identification and bringing people together.
